Steve Jeffery, Chief Executive Officer

Steve Jeffery is a veteran of the technology industry with 33 years of experience gained in Europe and North America. His career includes positions at global multinationals including Hewlett Packard and IBM. In 1994 Steve relocated from the Silicon Valley to Georgia where he built two start-up organizations, SQL Financials and Clarus Corporation taking each public in 1998 and 2001.

Steve has assumed a variety of management roles in software and hardware companies, including CEO, Chairman, and General Manager as well as executive positions in Sales and Marketing. This wide range of experience has enabled him grow early stage companies to success. Steve has also been very successful in working with the Venture Capital and the Public markets to raise equity.

Steve’s management experience also includes driving strategic acquisitions and the successful divestiture of a number of business units. Today, Steve is a director of several companies and the former president of TAG, one of the nation’s largest statewide technology associations. Steve holds an honors Bachelor degree in Business from Sheffield Hallam University in the U.K.

 

Ralph Crabtree, Chief Technology Officer

Ralph Crabtree has 25 years of experience in the definition, implementation, and delivery of high-tech software products. Crabtree was the primary creator of the enabling technology and software products on which Brickstream was founded. Prior to Brickstream, Crabtree held various advanced research and development positions at NCR Corporation.

For the past 15 years, Crabtree has focused on the application of image-understanding technologies to commercial solutions that include people tracking, video surveillance, and document recognition. Crabtree is the co-inventor of ten patents. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Furman University.

 

Iain Currie, Vice President Operations

As a member of a large corporate research and development facility, Currie began working with Brickstream’s technology prototype in 1996. Iain has been with Brickstream since its inception and has been a significant contributor to its growth.

After creating and developing Brickstream’s implementation services team, Iain has since assumed responsibilities for all of Operations. His in-depth knowledge of Brickstream hardware, software, and implementation services continues to make an invaluable contribution to driving the future direction of Brickstream’s solutions.

Currie has 23 years experience in software development and professional services in the high-tech industry across Europe and North America. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with Honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Tayside University in the United Kingdom.

 

Steve Hornyak, Vice President Business Development

Steve Hornyak has been involved in the technology, service and capital market business sectors for the past 24 years. His career includes executive and management positions at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Oracle, SQL Financials, Clarus, Riverbrooke Capital, Pareto Principals, and Brickstream. As a strategic executive leader in SQL Financials and subsequently Clarus Corporation, Hornyak was involved in the process of taking both companies public. His management experience includes sales, marketing, alliances and acquisitions. Additionally, he has significant experience in the areas of capital raises, cash management, forecasting and operational growth of fast growing and start-up companies. Hornyak holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business from Virginia Tech.

As Vice President of Business Development for Brickstream, he is responsible for all sales, business development, channel partner development and direct target account sales globally.

 

Paul Williams, Chief Financial Officer

Paul Williams provides Brickstream with the benefit of over 30 years of accounting and finance experience. After a stint in public accounting, Paul’s career roles have encompassed accounting, operational and treasury function responsibility for multi-charter holding companies, wearing the hats at times of CFO, COO and CEO for different companies. He has led equity campaigns and has registered and deregistered companies with the NASDAQ exchange. His professional development has included leadership positions with the Georgia Bankers Association and the Georgia Society of CPAs, seminar speaking, and an adjunct professor position with Mercer University’s School of Business.

Williams earned a BBA in Accounting, magna cum laude, from the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia.
